Famous For Five Miles Experiences
Wonder Walks
A few hours out walking the wilder edges of Bath and Bristol with other young men.
Through simple prompts, movement, conversation and creative practice, we’ll explore the places we live in and see what happens when we slow down and pay attention. A chance to get out of your head, follow your curiosity and end the walk with a cuppa and cake.
Intentional walks with a purpose where we move through urban landscapes on foot as a crew as a liberating way of making sense of uncertain times.
Exploring the wilder, liminal edge places of Bath and Bristol
Through simple invitations explore what happens when we open up the imagination and allow other perspectives on life to emerge.
Get into the body and the power of movement as a liberating act.
Connect to self, land and others through a range of creative and connection practices.
How they work
Typically a Wonder Walk lasts about 3 hours
The start and end point is fixed
As the Wonder Walk unfolds our guides will work with the group and offer a series of ‘invitations’ as the walk unfolds. These are practices designed to support Connection, Creativity and Service.
We will explore ways to open up to awe & wonder, elicit creative responses from the landscape, and connect to our bodies, each other and the more-than-human imagination. We will seek other perspectives on life, try creative writing, tune into place - belonging, identity, myth and story.
We’ll end the walk with a FREE cuppa and cake at a Boston Tea Party cafe - our partner.

Return to Circle
A relaxed, guided space to sit together, listen and share what is really going on.
There is no pressure to speak, no need to have the answers and no expectation to fix anyone else’s problems. You can share, listen or simply take part in a way that feels right for you. A chance to build trust, hear other perspectives and spend time in good company.
Circle technology - the ancient social technology that connects us to self, each other and land.
A deeply simple move - re-membering how to tune into ancient intelligence that we all carry as humans.
To sit together in community to listen, share and connect.
Learning to listen deeply
Learning attention and presence
Learning to speak from the heart
No fixing, no solving, no judging.
How they work
Typically they last about two hours. They take place in partner sites across Bristol and Bath where we can remind ourselves that this work can co-exist within the busyness of modern life. Our guides will hold the space and offer gentle connection practice and prompts to get started. Participants are invited both to share but more importantly to hold the collective space for listening.
Our guides are experienced in holding these spaces in ways that are safe and that support trust, and shared connection. Nothing is compulsory and nobody is forced to share beyond what is comfortable and right for them. The beauty of Return to the Circle is that it evolves to meet the unfolding needs of the group.
